Exactly on the 140th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s death, on 31 July, the Liszt Museum announced its new, autumn matinée season. The museum welcomes audiences every Saturday at 11 a.m. for a unique concert in the Chamber Music Hall of the Old Academy of Music from September.
A museum visit, a guided tour and a mini concert — one package from March.
A new temporary exhibition has opened – as it does every year – in November. It explores the work of Franz Liszt’s friend and chamber partner, the violinist and composer Jenő Hubay.

In June, members of staff from the Liszt Museum travelled to Paris on a professional visit. During their stay, Director Máté Cselényi, Anna Peternák, Blanka Pászthory and Diána Mátrai visited several cultural institutions with the aim of establishing future collaborations.

On Saturday, 20 June, the Liszt Museum will exceptionally be closed during the day. However, from 3:30 pm until midnight, we will welcome visitors with a wide range of special programmes.
