The Liszt Museum will be open during the national holiday in August.

Exactly on the 140th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s death, on 31 July, the Liszt Museum announced its new, autumn matinée season. The museum welcomes audiences every Saturday at 11 a.m. for a unique concert in the Chamber Music Hall of the Old Academy of Music from September.

A museum visit, a guided tour and a mini concert — one package from March.

A new temporary exhibition has opened – as it does every year – in November. It explores the work of Franz Liszt’s friend and chamber partner, the violinist and composer Jenő Hubay.

The Franz Liszt Memorial Museum will be closed on 1 November.

The new issue of the international academic journal Studia Musicologica contains studies on Franz Liszt.
