Jonathan Biss (piano)

Jonathan Biss was born into an American family of musicians in 1980. He started playing piano aged just six. Despite his youth he has already received many awards and worked together with big-name orchestras such as the New York, London and Berlin Philharmonics. He was recently appointed artistic director of the Marlboro Music Festival alongside Mitsuko Uchida. Currently he devotes most of his time to the art of Beethoven; the principal works of the master feature on the programme of his coming seasons. This is his first solo recital in Hungary.
