During the Liszt bicentenary, The Helikon Publishing House and the Franz Liszt Academy of Music published the third volume on Liszt: we are happy to present an impressive album in the series, entitled "Génie Oblige! The Budapest Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum's Treasures".

In this most elegant volume, 121 different objects are featured from the rich collection of the Franz Liszt Memorial Museum. Besides special instruments and the most valuable items of the books and scores in the Liszt estate, this album presents some of Liszt's autographs, letters written by and to him, paintings, drawings, photos, works of plastic art, documents, concert programmes and relics. The diverse and impressive assortment of pictures outline Liszt's life, art and relationship to his contemporaries.

Each full-page colour print is joined by a detailed description in two languages, Hungarian and English. As well as items of the permanent exhibition, this volume presents hidden treasures that are rarely to be seen as part of a periodic exhibition.
