Paddington Trio and Kandinsky Quartet A Zeneakadémia saját szervezésű programja

For nearly two decades, the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) has served as fertile ground for shaping the music of the future, with a particular focus on chamber music. Its international programme, ECMA PRO, has been created as a workshop that enables young, exceptionally talented ensembles not only to hone their skills in masterclasses, but also to perform in prestigious festival appearances and showcase concerts. The London-based Paddington Trio has won the Parkhouse Award Wigmore Hall and the Triomphe de l’Art in Brussels, among others. They are currently mentored by Günter Pichler at the International Chamber Music Institute of the Reina Sofia Conservatory of Music, having previously studied with Alfred Brendel, Thomas Adès, and the Takács and Ébène string quartets. Besides ECMA, they participate in projects of the Netherlands String Quartet Academy (NSKA). Audience successes at the Heidelberg Spring, the Venice Biennale, the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and the Verbier Festival, as well as international competition victories, have launched the career of the Vienna-based Kandinsky Quartet. They have been mentored by Elisabeth Leonskaja, with whom they perform frequently, and have also performed with Gábor Takács-Nagy, Nicolas Altstaedt and renowned string quartets. They are currently scholarship holders at the German Jeunesse Musicales and Villa Musica, and are students of Johannes Meissl in Vienna and Quatuor Ébène in Munich.
