Award on the occasion of National Day

On the occasion of Hungary’s National Day on 15 March the director of the Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum and Research Centre, Dr. Zsuzsanna Domokos has been awarded by the President of State of Hungary, Dr. János Áder with the award Hungarian Gold Medal Cross of Distinction upon the advice of the Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, „as appreciation of her outstanding level work on research and care of Franz Liszt’s heritage”. The Hungarian Golden Cross is awarded to those who contributed to the service of the nation, to the development of the country, to the promotion of the interests of the homeland and to the enrichment of universal human values.
