ZSUZSANNA DOMOKOS’S LECTURE IN CARDIFF

9 May 2022

On 27 April 2022, Zsuzsanna Domokos, director of the Liszt Museum and Research Centre, held a lecture at the University of Cardiff on Liszt’s unknown manuscripts in the collection of our museum. She was invited by Professor Kenneth Hamilton, Dean of the Faculty of Music at Cardiff University. The lecture was part of the John Bird Lectures series and was also broadcast online.

The following day, at the invitation of Nicholas Johnes, Professor of Music History, who was in attendance at the lecture the day before, she gave a half-hour free summary of Liszt’s significance to the students participating in the doctoral seminar.

We are honoured by the invitation and are glad that this event further strengthened the good relationship and cooperation between the Liszt Academy of Music and Cardiff University.
