The Liszt album of Professor Kenneth Hamilton has been chosen as the Best Classical Recording of 2023 in The Guardian newspaper in the UK

We are delighted to announce that Kenneth Hamilton's latest Liszt album, which was premiered at the Liszt Museum last June, has been chosen as the Best Classical Recording of 2023 in The Guardian newspaper in the UK.

The CD "Salon and Stage" contains Liszt transcriptions of songs by Schubert, Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann, alongside a number of Liszt paraphrases from the operatic repertoire. In a review published on the release of the disc, The Guardian critic highlights Hamilton's careful and brilliant playing, engaging performances and insightful interpretation.
