New graphic art was given to the Liszt Museum's collection
19 December 2024
The generosity of Mária Anna Kerényi has given the Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum and Research Centre a new graphic entitled Magyar Rapszódia [Hungarian Rhapsody], created by graphic artist György Ruzicskay.
György Ruzicskay (1896-1993) was a Hungarian painter, and distinguished artist. His first solo exhibition took place in Oradea in 1924. A Liszt album of graphics related to Franz Liszt was published in 1938. The album covers the composer's life and his music in 8 lithographic sheets.
We thank Mária Anna Kerényi for the generous gift!
