Zsombor Filip (guitar)

Zsombor Filip began his studies at the Sándor Plugor Art School in Sepsiszentgyörgy (Sfantu-Gheorghe, Romania)  as a student of Zsolt Kakasi, and at the same time he regularly attended the courses of guitarist Costin Soare in Bucharest. Filip is currently a third-year student in the guitar class of Corneliu Voicescu at the Faculty of Music of the Transilvania University of Brasov. In the 2018–2019 academic year, he studied as a student of András Csáki at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, as part of an Erasmus scholarship. He attended the master classes of Costin Soare, István Kónya, András Csáki, Gabriel Bianco, Dávid Pavlovits, Antal Pusztai, Cătălin Ștefănescu, Javier Villafuerte, Liviu Georgescu and Antoine Morinière, among others. He often performs with the Codex Early Music Ensemble and regularly gives solo evenings. As a soloist, he has demonstrated his talent alongside the Georgius Chamber Orchestra.
