Franz Liszt's Estate I

The series "Acta", launched in 1986, represents a qualitative leap forward: it shows that the Academy of Music performs its mission as a university by way of regular scholarly publications as well.

More than symbolic, it is even inevitable that the first volume of Acta is part of our continuous Liszt research. Proves how inseparable Liszt's activity was from the Academy, so that his concern inspires our educative and research work still today. Proves that working up his educational, compositional, intellectual and material legacy has always been present in the life of this university. Almost all of our professors have contributed to the discovery and understanding of Liszt's life and oeuvre with substantial publications.
