The Liszt Museum will be open during the national holiday in August.

Exactly on the 140th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s death, on 31 July, the Liszt Museum announced its new, autumn matinée season. The museum welcomes audiences every Saturday at 11 a.m. for a unique concert in the Chamber Music Hall of the Old Academy of Music from September.

A new temporary exhibition has opened – as it does every year – in November. It explores the work of Franz Liszt’s friend and chamber partner, the violinist and composer Jenő Hubay.

On 18 October 2014, we organized a ‘Liszt Day’ with three concerts to celebrate the upcoming birthday of the great composer. This event has been a tradition in our museum since 2011.
