Ensemble Janus Atelier A Zeneakadémia saját szervezésű programja

Publisher Janus Atelier unites two internationally awarded (New Note, Samobor 2013) Slovenian composers Matija Krečič and David Veber. They both hold a degree in composition (Kärntner Landeskonservatorium Klagenfurt, Academy of Music Ljubljana) and are active as performers – first as a violinist, latter as a choir conductor and a guitarist. In the last few years of intensive work as composers they cooperated with numerous important musicians (String Sextett of Munich Philharmonic, Ingenium Ensemble, Mladi ljubljanski solisti Chamber Orchestra, PAZ Vinko Vodopivec, The Slovenian Mastersingers, Viadana Chamber Choir...). They scored a few short films, cartoons and wrote pieces arrangements for various artists and occasions. In 2013 they established Janus Atelier publishers with the goal to publish original music independently and offer it to the audience and performers. In 18 months they launched 3 sheet music editions (5 compositions) and an album Architexture with music for strings. In addition Ensemble Janus Atelier, a group of young musicians, was founded. The form of the ensemble adjusts itself according to demands of the program, and therefore varies from the soloist to bigger ensemble.
