The Franz Liszt Memorial Museum is open on national holidays.

The Franz Liszt Memorial Museum organised a three-day series of events to honour the composer, born in October, between 16 and 18 October.

Ferenc Liszt was born on 22 October 1811, and as per tradition Liszt Museum is hosting a special three-day festival to celebrate the anniversary. You can find the detailed programme below.

The world-renowned Liszt researcher Kenneth Hamilton has published an article in International Piano, in which he explores Julius Reubke's Sonata in B-flat minor—a piece he performed in June at the Liszt Museum.

The Franz Liszt Memorial Museum warmly invites students of the Liszt Academy of Music to join guided tours. Please see the dates and registration details below.

Visitors can enter the Liszt Museum for free between 9:00 and 17:00 on 20 August.
